Johannesburg International Airport
3 Hours Before Flight Time
Welcome to South Africa! Your South African adventure starts when arriving at the O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative, who will hand over your travel digest and transfer you to your hotel situated next to the Sandton Mall and Nelson Mandela Square. The rest of the day will be at leisure to relax and unwind after your long flight.
After breakfast you will embark on a guided tour of the falls. Later this afternoon, you will be collected from the lodge for your sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, Africa’s fourth longest, where you will enjoy snacks and drinks, as well as the opportunity to spot wildlife such as elephant, hippo, crocodile and magnificent birds. This is a great way to soak up the serenity of your surroundings as the sun sets over the water and day turns to night.
Today, enjoy a full-day safari package comprising a cruise on the Chobe River and a game drive in the world famous Chobe National Park. Only an hour’s drive from Victoria Falls, the Chobe National Park in Botswana is home to one of the largest game concentrations in Africa. Bordered by the banks of the breath-taking Chobe River, it is famous for its rich elephant and lion population. The tour departs from Victoria Falls in the early morning, where you will be transferred to the border by road. Here your Botswana guide will meet you after immigration procedures.
Fly to Nelspruit! After breakfast you will be transferred to the Livingston Airport to board your flight to Nelspruit. Upon arrival you will be met by your driver and transferred to the Hippo Hollow Lodge, where you will be staying for 2 nights. Nestled amongst lush indigenous gardens on the banks of the Sabie River in Hazyview, Hippo Hollow has an “Out of Africa” feel about it, and leaves you feeling totally relaxed and refreshed. Hippo Hollow offers stylish accommodation overlooking picturesque gardens, or the mighty Sabie River. Enjoy a variety of mouth-watering dishes whilst watching the grazing of the hippopotamus on the lawn against the backdrop of a sunset. Dinner is included during your stay.
Travel to Graskop and the southernmost point of the Blyde River Canyon. This shows you some of the most spectacular scenery, with breathtaking views of the Blyde River Canyon and out over the Lowveld. Along the edge of the escarpment, you can enjoy spectacular views, including God’s Window, Wonderview, and the Three Rondawels. Along the route, you can visit the famous Bourkes Luck Potholes – cavities formed by thousands of years of water erosion at the confluence of the Blyde and Treur Rivers. At lunchtime, the tour will stop back in Graskop so that you can have lunch at a restaurant. Near Graskop, where numerous waterfalls tumble down the mountains, you will visit the beautiful Berlin Falls and Lisbon Falls on the way back to Sabie and then White River.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to your tented safari camp where you will be staying for 2 nights. Named after Colonel Stephenson Hamilton, who played a vital role in establishing the world-famous Kruger National Park, Hamiltons Tented Camp is located on 10,000 hectares within the Kruger National Park. Activities include twice-daily game drives, bush walks, and spectacular bird-watching. Enjoy a stop for sundowners on your evening game drive while having the possibility of spotting nocturnal wildlife. Game-viewing is truly spectacular here – the Big 5, as well as a variety of other wildlife, roam the reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Dinner will be enjoyed at the lodge.

Fly to Cape Town! After a final morning game drive and breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and transfer to the Eastgate Airport for your flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival in Cape Town you will be transferred to your hotel, where you will be staying for 3 nights. Resting at the confluence of the Indian and Atlantic Ocean, sandwiched between the slopes of the iconic Table Mountain and the glistening sapphire waters of Table Bay, the exceptionally scenic city of Cape Town is in a class of its own. With its bustling harbor, world-class beaches, top-notch vineyards and its mountainous surroundings brimming with diverse flora and fauna, Cape Town consistently captivates the hearts of all who visit.
After breakfast you can enjoy a full-day Cape Town City & Winelands Tour. Situated below Table Mountain, Devil’s Peak and Lion’s Head, Cape Town offers a rich cultural and colonial heritage, grand splendor and an assurance of activity of excitement. Go on the `must-sees ‘of any Cape Town day tour which will show you Cape Town, from its historical beginnings of yesteryear to the dazzling modern buildings of today. Meet the African penguins! Today, you will head to the fishing village of Hout Bay. On the way you will pass by Sea Point, Bantry Bay, and Clifton. You will also see Bakoven and Llandudno with their ghostly shipwrecks. Take in these fantastic views even before you have reached your destination! Once you arrive in Hout Bay you will board a boat to enjoy the view of the Cape fur seal colony on Duiker Island. From there, navigate the 114 curves of 600m-high Chapman’s Peak Drive. Afterwards, explore the Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park, home to fabulous birds and very special fauna. Then, climb to the famous Cape Point Lighthouse to capture the magical vistas of False Bay. Before going back to your hotel, stop by to visit Boulders Beach to see the penguins.
Say your last goodbyes! After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Cape Town International Airport to board your flight home. Safe travels home, and visit again soon!
