Southern Thailand: Khao Sok, Phangan, Ko Samui

Upon your arrival at the airport you will be met by our tour representative, who will escort you to the pre-arranged transfer to your hotel. You will be briefed about your upcoming program and the cultural, culinary, and spiritual impressions of Thailand you will find during your journey. You will also get an introduction to the bustling, occasionally chaotic Bangkok, featuring both old-world charm and modern convenience, at all times served with a gracious smile.

Explore the other side of Bangkok, floating down the scenic canals and discovering hidden gems along the way. This hop-on hop-off canal and walking tour allows you to witness the old and new side of Thailand’s incredibly diverse capital, with the freedom to take in the sights at your own pace. Begin your day with a ritual blessing at the holy Erawan Shrine. Head towards Rachadamri Road past some of Bangkok’s most famous department stores. Then, hop on the boat at Pratunam Canal Pier and enjoy the scenery as you gently float towards Hua Chang. Visit the Baan Krua Nuea community, where local shops sell unique Thai crafts. Head back to the boat and sail to your next stop at Phanfa Pier, where you will be introduced to Bangkok’s old charms. In the evening you will be free to explore the neighboring area with a variety of bars and clubs for you to get a taste of the Bangkok nightlife.

Today you will be picked up from your hotel in Bangkok and transferred to Baan Saladin village, the community-based tourism area along Khlong Mahasawat, a famous canal in Nakhon Pathom. You will be taken on a local boat along the canal to visit the Water Lilly Farm and get a chance to try boat paddling in the Lotus pond. Next, visit the orchid farm and fruit orchards. Have lunch at a local restaurant and transfer further to Phetchaburi province. Make a stop to visit Khao Wang (Palace Hill), located on a verdant hill in the city. Continue your trip to Hua Hin where you will check into your hotel and spend the rest of day at leisure. In the evening, you’ll be able to walk to visit the nearby night market.

Your day will start with an lovely buffet breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you will check out and transfer to visit the fishing pier and local market in Hua Hin before heading to visit the King Royal Project (Chang Hua Man). Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. Then, you will transfer to your hotel in stunning Khao Sok National Park, surrounded with beautiful lush rain forest and dramatic rock formation.

Today, you’ll have the chance to partake in several different activities. Take an easy walk through Khao Sok National Park with your experienced guide pointing out all the different wildlife and exotic plants in the area. You can either go on a guided canoe trip down the Sok River, exploring the evergreen rainforest and limestone karsts; or, sit back, relax and float down the Sok River on a rubber inner tube, spotting macaque monkeys in the trees. Then, wrap up the day with an evening of leisure back at the resort, dining by oil lamp and discovering the quiet serenity of the surrounding jungle area.

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll transfer to Tapee Pier in Suratthani, where you’ll take the high speed Lomprayah Catamaran to Koh Pha Ngan. At the Thongsala Pier, you will be met by your English-speaking guide and transfer to your hotel by private air-conditioned minibus. Check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure relaxing and sunbathing on the white sandy beach in front of hotel.

Today’s tour will transfer you along the scenic coastal road down to explore the beautiful nature around Koh Pha Ngan where you’ll see some little local streets passing through beautiful landscapes and the tropical forest. Stop to visit a local village and see traditional fishing boats, the local market, a coconut plantation, a temple and meet a friendly monk who has spent many years in Europe. He is very relaxed and communicative and he will give you a wonderful insight into Buddhist Culture. The small temple makes this a very personal experience. Transfer back to your hotel around noon and relax for the rest of day at the swimming pool or white sandy beach in front of the hotel.

You’ll begin your day with a transfer by minivan from your resort to the meeting point where you will enjoy a light breakfast. After breakfast, you’ll take the speedboat leaving from Thongsala Pier. The first destination will be Ao Muang at Koh Tao or Nang Yuan Island (weather-permitting). There you will be able to snorkel in the clear waters at the most abundant coral reefs with lots of colorful fish. Relax and soak up the sun on the powdery white sand beach and go on an easy trek to an amazing viewpoint. Depart from Koh Nang Yuan and transfer to Koh Tao where you will have an all-you-can-eat lunch. After lunch, you’ll have free time for swimming, snorkeling from the beach or taking pictures on the beach Depart from the marine park back to Koh Phangan.

After you enjoy a buffet breakfast at your hotel, you’ll check out and transfer to Thongsala Pier, from where you will depart for Koh Samui on a catamaran. Get off at Pralan Pier and transfer to your hotel on Koh Samui where you’ll be able to relax for the rest of day on the beach or in the swimming pool.

Our half-day program offers the unforgettable experience of spending time in the presence of our breathtaking herd of beautiful elephants. We are sure that a day spent at Samui Elephant Sanctuary will leave you deeply moved by how incredible the largest land mammal on Earth truly is. After a welcome and introduction video on why elephants need to be protected, you’ll help prepare food for the elephants, and after food preparation meet and feed the elephants. This up-close encounter is a magical experience and the elephants of course love their basket of treats. Walk with the elephants, stand back and observe as they show natural behaviors such as foraging for food, bathing in the pool and playing in the mud pit.
